Joe Robertson - President

Joe Robertson has been in the electrical industry for over 35 years, including prior experience with a local electrical consulting and engineering firm that specialized in design-build owner / architect / engineer / contractor team projects.  He has embraced design-build and value engineered contracting to offer value to ECI’s customers.  This has contributed enormously to the company’s growth in the design market.  This has given Electric Construction the knowledge and experience to make all kinds of projects successful including: new construction, additions and renovations.  Joe attended classes at Southern Illinois University and at the University of Wisconsin – Madison.  He is a licensed electrical designer and master electrician.  He has held numerous official positions within the industry: past chairman of the Madison chapter of NECA, Wisconsin Society of Illuminating Engineers, served 21 years on the Madison area Joint Apprenticeship Committee as treasurer, committee member and chairman.  Joe has provided the amplification and focus for the company.  The voice and vision, however come from the employees of Electric Construction – individuals united.

Michael Stassi – Vice President

Mike, a naval veteran, has also been an electrician for over 35 years.  Mike joined Electric Construction in 1993, as Field Coordinator.  Mike brings a practical, hands on approach which still serves ECI well to this day.  His ability to get things done and work with project owners / managers is a huge reason why ECI is as successful as it is today.

Rod Howard – Project Manager

Rod joined Electric Construction in 1992, as a purchasing agent and in 1999, received his journeyman license.  Rod also received his Wisconsin Master Electrician certification that year and has since become a key member of ECI’s management team.  Rod’s specialty is design-build work where his talents really shine.  Along with his duties at ECI, Rod is also an active member in the Wisconsin Chapter of NECA.  He has been a member for the past 3+ years on the Madison Area Joint Apprentice, Madison Area Joint Apprentice Training Trust Fund and Labor Management Cooperative Committees.

Rob Rudolf – Project Engineer

Rob earned his Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin – Madison, and recently received his Wisconsin Professional Engineers License.  Rob joined Electric Construction in 1995 as a project engineer.  With his knowledge of engineering coincided with his electrician experience prior to joining ECI, Rob has a unique understanding of how it all fits together.  Rob is also a member of the Illuminating Engineering Society of North America (IESNA). His association with IESNA has helped ECI become a significant resource for builders and designers in the Dane County area in the realm of Sustainable System Design or “green” designs.  Rob’s expertise has helped a number of companies in the area achieve either LEED certification or tax credits due to energy efficient designs.

David Bader – Service Manager

David joined Electric Construction in 1982, as a 3rd year apprentice and received his journeyman's license in 1984. At this time David became a field foreman until 1992, when he received his Wisconsin Master Electrician license and moved in to the Service Manager role. David's responsibilities require him to oversee our entire fleet of service technicians and the equipment they use. David has also taken on the role of Safety Director for ECI, in which he is very much an advocate for the electricians in the field. He has taken his 30 plus years of knowledge and worked to make safety the number one concern amongst both our management and field personnel.

Terry Doyle – Service / Field Coordinator

Terry joined Electric Construction in 1988 and received his Journeyman license in 1994, at which time Terry became a field foreman.  In 2000, Terry achieved his Wisconsin Master Electrician license and started his own electrical company.   He operated his company until the latter part of 2004, when due to his success he merged with ECI.  With Terry’s return to ECI he has become part of the management team and focuses his talents on our service department, labor management and small project management.
